Cupples Cottages Vacation & Vehicle Rentals

I recommend this place for many reasons. 1) It is beautiful (good taste, charming, cozy, elegant). 2) It is quiet and clean. 3) All the amenities work perfectly, even the cooking knifes are sharp and the kitchen has everything we need to cook our meals 4) Mattress is super comfortable we slept like babies! 5) Water pressure in the shower is excellent (and hot !!! which we really appreciate after skiing for hours) 6) The heating system works very well. They even have a nice electric fireplace to make the living room cozier and comfortable. 7) It is safe and has good size parking spaces! 8) Communication with host is prompt and professional. 9) But we can't be MORE THANKFUL TO ROB, the host, for making himself available to help us when we had an inconvenience with our car and we were an hour away. We truly appreciate that. Not many hosts will take their time ⏲ to help their tenants in that situation. Thanks for making our stay in Alaska exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend this place. Cupple Cottage is perfect! P.S. the welcome message and the chocolates was a thoughtful gesture . One of my favorite things about the cottage!

We had a wonderful experience every step of the way. The communication leading up to and during our stay was perfect. The cottages, although located near downtown feel like their own little world quietly tucked away. Everything was clean, comfortable and safe. A very nice home away from home. The personal touch was also very nice. I can’t imagine wanting to stay in a regular hotel again.

Cupples Cottages are simply OUTSTANDING. Historically, they have been owned by the Cupples family for three generations, that means many decades! And the Cupples family still own and manage the cottages. The hosts, Rob Cupples and his wife, live just adjacent to the cottages and are very knowledgeable about the Anchorage area. The four cottages are at ground level, in a safe area, city central (an easy half mile) to downtown Anchorage, and the hosts are security conscious for each of their guests. The cottages are spotless, extremely well maintained, have well-stocked kitchens, and strong Wi-Fi. Each cottage is very tastefully decorated and the size of each cottage is plenty big for two guests. They also have a laundry facility and BBQ on-site. Parking is just outside the front door. And for guests who don’t have a car Rob offers a rental car feature through Turo, a peer-to-peer car sharing company. We loved Cupples Cottages so much we stayed a full ten days and toured many sights, museums, ate at various cafes & restaurants, and hiked, biked, and rode the Alaska Railroad to/from Talkeetna. Overall, a 5-Star ++ place to lodge!

Cupples Cottages is the perfect place to stay while visiting Alaska (Anchorage area). Robert (Host) provides everything you could need, even rental cars!. Booking is easy. Rob is a great communicator, in person, via text, email and phone. A quiet, private location that is fenced and safe to stay at. Feels like home. Spotless interior with a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Robert provides additional items that you might need: bug spray, bear spray, umbrellas, even an Alaskan treat of chocolate :) Thank you for making our visit to Alaska memorable.

Very centrally located to the places we want to visit. Very clean and well outfitted. Definitely a great place and plan to come back in the Summer.

Super cute one bedroom lodging. Comfortable bed, well supplied kitchen, comfortable furniture. Walking distance to downtown. Very personable owner on property. It’s like a small compound with four units and a house for owner. We always felt safe.

What a gem! Cupples Cottages was a great place for our Anchorage stay. Check in was super easy. Robert provides a lot of information for ideas on what to do in and around Anchorage. We had an excellent stay. The space was very neat and clean upon arrival, you can tell that Robert cares about his property. It is a short walk into downtown where there is an endless number of places to eat and things to do or see. Check out was as easy as the check in. We would definitely stay here again.

This is such a great place. Amazing attention to detail and to the comfort of the guests. I would stay here again and again when visiting Anchorage. So clean and cozy. We stayed in a really not great hotel the night before we came here and it was such a relief to come to Cupples Cottages. Five stars for sure!
